NEUR 5900 - Advanced Neuroscience

Goals: This course aims to provide majors with an opportunity to apply the knowledge learned in previous coursework to analyze and discuss recent developments in neuroscience. Additionally, students will explore career options and post-secondary educational opportunities related to the field of neuroscience.

Content: Students critically examine recent research in neuroscience. Students will also learn about career and educational opportunities within the field of neuroscience, reflect on their career goals, and develop materials (resume, curriculum vitae, personal statements, etc.) relevant to their future plans.

Prerequisites: Neuroscience major and junior or senior status
