ARTH 3500 - Art of the Italian Renaissance



Goals: To explore major artistic developments in Italian art from the 13th-16th centuries within their cultural, political, social, and esthetic contexts.

Content: The emphasis of the course will be on painting, sculpture, and architecture.
Taught: Alternate years.
Prerequisites: ARTH 1200 and ARTH 1210, or permission of the instructor.
