ART 5330 - Advanced Ceramics

Goals: To achieve greater understanding of clay, glaze, and firing techniques in support of a student’s individual expression and goals.

Content: Work in wheel throwing, handbuilding or molds; production of functional and non-functional work. Clay and glaze technology may be included. Class assignments and critiques allow students to plan their own direction and to work toward achieving their individual expressive goals in clay.
Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
