LAW 9627 - Pretrial Skills Focusing on the lawyer’s role in discovery and fact development, students will learn pretrial skills. Students will create a discovery plan and manage the discovery process; take and defend depositions; draft and respond to written discovery requests, including interrogatories and document requests; draft discovery deficiency letters; and prepare motions to compel. Students will use video, demonstration, simulation, critique and personal reflection to build these skills.
