LAW 9509 - Environmental Law and Ecology Introduces the law pertaining to environmental issues. Environmental problems are defined and alternative legal approaches for dealing with them are examined. Existing statutory efforts such as the National Environmental Policy Act are analyzed, as are regulatory schemes relating to environmental quality. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the scientific principles of ecology as they relate to environmental regulation.
