LAW 9553 - Employment Discrimination Provides an in‑depth examination of federal and state fair employment laws, particularly Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; and the Minnesota Human Rights Act. The focus of the course is discrimination on account of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and age. Considers jurisdiction, administrative and judicial claims, proof and other litigation problems and the impact of the law on employment practices.
