PHYS 3120 - Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics Goals: To develop the conceptual and mathematical skills to solve real-world dynamics problems in three dimensions that are representative of what engineers regularly experience.
Content: Rectilinear and curvilinear kinematics, forces and moments, work and energy, impulse and momentum, general and relative motion, and kinetics of rigid bodies in two and three dimensions.
Taught: Alternate years, spring term
Prerequisite: PHYS 3110 or instructor permission
