   |  BIOL 5590 - EcologyGoals: To demonstrate empirical and theoretical understanding of the relationships between organisms and their biological and physical environment; to examine the distribution and abundance of organisms; to apply quantitative analysis to field-collected ecological data.
 Content: Energy flow, ecosystem organization, community structure, organismal interactions, population dynamics, physiological ecology and biome structure.
