Required courses for the K-12 ESL license are listed below. All teaching candidates must also complete the Education Department courses for a K-12 Minnesota teaching license (see Education Co-Major). Students are advised that completion of the program within a four-year time frame requires careful planning. If you seek a license to teach, please seek early advising from the School of Education to plan your program.
