MUS 1210 - Beginning Class Piano

Goals: To develop basic keyboard skills and music fundamentals.

Content: Music notation, lead sheet notation, learning by ear, sight reading, intervals, rhythm and meter, scales, triads, and seventh chords, harmonization, elementary repertory, and improvisation.

Taught: Every semester

Note: May be repeated once for credit.
