French Licensing for K-12 Teaching

French majors pursing a K-12 teaching license must complete all the requirements for the French major. However, they must take both MODL 1010 and 1020, for a total of eleven (11) courses. In addition, an assessment of advanced language proficiency and knowledge of French and Francophone culture are required. Students must also complete the education department courses required for a Minnesota teaching license (see Education).
