French Licensing for K-12 Teaching

French majors pursuing a K-12 teaching license must complete the following eleven (11) course French major: MODL 1010 and MODL 1020, FREN 3420, 3440, 3510, 3520, 3600, 3620, 3630, 5400, and 5600. In addition, an assessment of advanced language proficiency and knowledge of French culture are required. Students must also complete the education department courses required for a Minnesota teaching license (see Education). The methods course required for this K-12 license is EDU 5881: World Language Methods.
