Global Business with East Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary program combining the International Business concentration of HSB and an East Asian Studies minor of the CLA. It is designed to address a need in the marketplace for an undergraduate degree that combines the traditional values of a liberal arts education with the needs for competency in international business in East Asia. HU’s international business curriculum covers the fundamentals of business administration with an emphasis on international business. Foreign language courses are currently required and emphasize the use of language as a means to communicate cross-culturally. The BBA GBEA is designed for business students to obtain a foundational understanding of the language and society of a single East Asian country while also getting concrete international business experience.
