Sustainable Enterprise Concentration

The Sustainable Enterprise concentration in the BBA comprises the study of organizational solutions to natural and other resource concerns within a long-term framework. Sustainability is concerned with the effects of immediate decisions on future generations, and enterprises increasingly manage their operations with concern for long-term environmental and social impacts. Sustainable Enterprise includes the study of organizations with a specific environmental or social orientation, as well as initiatives that all organizations undertake to improve the sustainability of their operations. Sustainable Enterprise also includes the study of how sustainability is measure and accounted for in business reporting.
