The Center for Excellence in Urban Teaching (CEUT) offers advanced courses to improve teacher and administrator knowledge and skill for greater success with a diverse group of students and for students who will meet and work within a culturally diverse community. The courses can count as electives toward some degree and licensure programs or be taken independent of degree programs. CEUT also offers a 50% scholarship for its Certificate in Urban Teaching courses to teachers who are in their first three years of licensure. CEUT represents a significant part of the School of Education’s commitment to equity and diversity in the teaching and learning community.
