The Center for Excellence in Urban Teaching

The Center for Excellence in Urban Teaching offers advanced courses to improve teacher and administrator knowledge and skill for greater success with a diverse group of students and for students who will meet and work within a culturally diverse community. The courses can count as electives toward some degree and licensure programs or be taken independent of degree programs. They represent a significant part of the Graduate School of Education’s commitment to equity and diversity in the teaching and learning community.
