MUS 1130 - Hamline Studio Singers

Goals: To develop healthy vocal production in small group and solo singing roles both on stage and in the studio.

Content: Students will learn to perform various vocal styles/effects, improvise, work with a sound system and computer-based recording technologies, and collaborate with a rhythm section. Members of the studio ensemble will apply sight-reading and ear training skills within the genres of jazz and pop vocal writing.
